    Sleepy Hollow

A much needed update to an outdated kitchen involved removing a wall that separated the kitchen from the family room. With new sightlines between the kitchen and great room, this young mom could now keep her eye on two active boys. Fresh and cheerful colors and relaxed furnishings brightened this formerly tired space. Distinct furniture groupings create zones in this open concept space and offer a space for everyone to gather. A custom built-in reading nook with oversized pillows and a soft cushion is ideal for snuggling up and reading with the young boy. A grouping of 4 swivel chairs and a cocktail ottoman is perfect for an intimate gathering of friends or tv watching with the family. White custom cabinetry, marble countertops, and marble mosaic backsplash combine for a timeless kitchen design while the colorful custom cabinetry home center creates a small out of the way workspace for the mom.
